Yeah...harvested over many years from many places. Do you have a Mobile phone that can play real ringtones as i've made many of them too.

I still rate the first album as my favourite because (old cliche) It Changed My Life. However, London Calling runs it very close, and the depth of imagination, passion, originality and sheer guts in both really make comparisons invidious. Favourite tracks ? OK, let's see:
The Clash (UK): London's Burning
Rope: (Probably) Safe European Home (tho' I love the one-note guitar solo on Tommy Gun !)
LC: I suppose the obvious, tho' Clampdown's pretty fine too
Sandinista: One More Time
Combat Rock: (agree) Straight to Hell
Black Market: (agree) Pressure Drop(this was always great live, too)
Live (Here to Eternity): Remote Control
(Are we doing Strummer solo stuff too, and if so, does anyone know where I can get CD, vinyl or download of Earthquake Weather ? I've only got a cassette, and Amazon couldn't help.)
Don't think my mobile takes proper music ringtones - it's a BlackBerry 7210, if anyone knows anything about these things.
Stay in Control !

Joe Strummer - Earthquake Weather.
